A member asked:

Docs can you explain what is a bicornuate uterus and its cons?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Bicornuate uterus: During development the uterus starts as two horns that come together and eventually form one cavity. If this doesn't happen completely you can have a bicornuate uterus. Many women have no issues with this, but it can increase miscarriage rates and if one horn is small (rudimentary), it can increase pregnancy complications as well.
