If no history of Trauma it is most likely an infection in/ around the Eye. Either way, The Eye Specialist, Ophthalmologist is the best option and should be seen soonest. Don't wait. Wish you well.

Hello, I have had my left eye watering constantly for perhaps a week now, and wiping away tears/discharge has now irritated the skin around my eye.
