Hi i stepped on a rusty nail , which punctured about 1/2 and inch , i have left it for 24hrs after washing it , however it is still very painfull?

Puncture wound: Puncture side may possibly got infected. Go to an urgent care or ER. You need tetanus injection if you are not up to date. May be an x-ray, antibiotic prescription and pain medication. You can not manage it by yourself. You can have serious complications.
