Infection: There could be concern of infection with a puncture wound on your foot. There could be a simple skin infection like a staph infection, but there could be concern for something more severe like tetanus. I would recommend having the wound examined to see if antibiotics are needed. I would also make sure you are up to date on your tetanus immunization.
