It is safe: There is no drug interactions between xanax (alprazolam) and zanaflex. Tension type headaches are often misdiagnosed and frequently poorly managed. Your physician may determine that you need a prescription-strength medication to augment your Tension Type headaches treatment plan. See your PCP.
