I was attacked by 2 dogs. neither pierced the skin, my arm is now swollen & covered w/bruises. any touch is excruciating. how can i treat the pain?

Advil (ibuprofen): But remember the dog encounter should be reported even if the skin was not pierced. Using ice packs may help with the pain, use no more than 15 min at a time. After 3 days, skip the ice and go to warm, moist packs--this should help speed the healing. If any redness, sign of infection, then DR visit.
