Difficult to Say: Herpes lesions are generally painful, but not always. Many other potential causes could present as you describe. Some are STD's like genital warts, other causes could be as simple as a clogged hair follicle. If it concerns you, see your GYN and they can give you a much better idea what the potential cause might be. Good luck.
