See your doc: Sounds like you have an episodic arrhythmia occurring mostly at night. Arrhythmias may be more symptomatic at night when all else is "quiet."Your doc can easily make the diagnosis using a heart rhythm monitor.He/she can then determine the cause and treat accordingly.Sometimes palpitations, which are a symptom, don't turn out to be an arrhythmia. But this certainly needs to be considered. Good luck.
