I've seen online and heard from a few people that metformin causes kidney damage. is this true? do i have anything to worry about years from now?

Metformin: Lots of missing information. You are taking lots of meds - do you really need them? Are you overweight? If so you need to see a dietitian to help get your weight down. Metformin per se should not cause kidney damage.
