Just had a pelvic ultrasound n trnsvgnl due to pelvic pain w no other symptoms dr said everything came out good so what else can the pain be from?

Frustrating problem!: The list of causes of pain in the pelvis is longer than your arm! Many of them are not directly related to your uterus, tubes and ovaries. No machine can scan your body and identify the source of the pain and many of the causes do not show up on ultrasound, CT, or MRI It can be a very frustrating problem to have. You may need to see a doctor that specializes in pelvic pain. Best wishes!

Im almost 17w. A OB resident in the ER examined my cervix & said it was less than a finger open which was good. I only ever had my cervix examined on ultrasound. Was it okay for her to do a pelvic exam? Can it cause miscarriage in anyway?
