How should i then treat his low blood sugar if hes not allowed sweets what if its all that ive got he is a type 2 diabetic aswell as low blood sugar ?

Low blood sugar: He should stop taking medication for diabetes for a few days and see what happens to blood sugar. If the level gets high re-start treatment but at 50% of the dose he is using. Note! He is not " a diabetic" - he has diabetes and is working to get rid of it!
