Talk with him...: About this change If you have not done so. Recommend stating what you have observed and why it concerns you or how it affects you. If he is able to identify a cause that is related to a recent life change or situation all he may need is the support of you and other close family/friends. If he reports significant unexplained/uncontrolled changes in emotions it may benefit talking to a doctor.

Doctor Visit Soon?: This must be very frightening. I'm wondering: Does you father seem aware of this change? Has he said anything about it? Has anyone asked him? I'm also wondering: Does your father have a doctor he sees? If he does, would he agree to let you take him to the doctor or would he agree to have a doctor come to see him at home? I'd want your father to see a doctor to help understand what's going on.
