STD? PID?: Any new, abnormal, or unexplained abdominal pain needs professional examination, and same with new or unexplained vaginal discharge. The combination of both is suspicious for pelvic inflammatory disease (PID), the most frequent serious complication of gonorrhea or chlamydia. If your doctor (or someone covering) can't see you today, go to an urgent care clinic or hospital emergency room.
