If i had many papules and pustules what kind of acne was that define? what defines cystic severe acne?

Why do you ask?: Teresa, this is the 21st century and you should not have to suffer with this kind of acne. Exact definitions vary, but "many pustules", especially on a female, is an indication for the isotretinoin you're taking. I'm going to assume that a trial of topical agents and perhaps an antibiotic / spironolactone / the oral contraceptive pill failed.
