Ovarian cysts: It is not uncommon for ovarian cysts (in people with pcos or not) to rupture and then the body reabsorbs the tissue. Only in cases where the cyst is large and causing pain will a surgery be needed to remove the cyst. Women often have ovarian cysts that the body just takes care of by reabsorbing the tissue.
