Complex: While this problem must consider your full medical history and physical exam, in the surface it sounds like the gallbladder needs to be removed. If symptoms less than 72 hours or so, do it now. If not, consider treating with antibiotics, then coming back on 6-8 weeks for surgery. Hope this helps!

Had a "US Liver" exam done and just got the results. Polyp along gallbladder wall w/ thick/wide stalk measuring approx. 5 x 3 x 5 mm. They're commonly asymptomatic, but I have had severe pain in both upper left and right quad. Is this likely the prob?
