TB : TB positive culture indicates active infection. It should be treated with your asthma. Avoid smoke, allergic triggers such as dust and mold. Discuss asthma action plan and control. A virtual consult may be useful to you and your physician.

Some basics: Infection & related irritation are a known trigger to persistent asthma flare ups. The TB germ is a slow growing, hard to kill off germ that takes months to kill off if the meds work. You need to work with your doc to come up with the best asthma management plan given that this triggering factor will be around for quite some time.
