Nasal Mucus: Greetings, persistent green mucus within the nasal cavity and nasopharynx where the adenoids are may be a resistant infection that needs a culture after the amoxicillin has been completed. I would also recommend a saline nasal wash. Not a mist but a wash that will assist in expelling this thick mucus. This wash can be performed 2-3x/day.
