Unclear HowDiagnosed: how certain the Dx, how acquired, is prostatitis actually bacterial, which bacteria, are they sensitive to Cipro, (ciprofloxacin) etc. Antibiotics=poisons to certain cells which are generally tolerated by humans, are routinely prescribed by guesswork, which bacteria likely to be dominant in which body locations, to what antibiotic poisons might they be sensitive. Cultures before & after treatment would help know.
