Eczema flares: Eczema can flare during the cold time of the year due to dry air inside and outside, in the spring and fall due to increased allergens in the environment and during periods of increased stress. Eczema can also flare with use of products with fragrances or dyes. Dry skin is more eczema prone than well-moisturized skin.
