Facial numbness: this could be a neurologic problem. You could ask your physician to have you see a neurologist to help clarify the diagnosis. This could be Tic Douleureux but it does not completely sound like it.

Yes, but many other: Yes, we use neuropathy to describe abnormal numbness & tingling sensation. But that only describes your complaint. It doesn't explain why. And we need to know why in order to offer you appropriate treatment. For instance, stroke, Bell's palsy & shingles come to mind. While you're young, make sure Face isn't asymmetric or lopsided. Arm & leg strength plus Speech should be normal. Time is key. FAST
