Depends...: On where the pain is, quality of the pain and different associated symptoms. I will say that if the pain remains constant, does not get relieved after a bowel movement/passing gas, if you have change in stool color, especially dark tarry stool or bloody stool, masses, increasing tightness in your abdomen, fever, chills, or any other systemic symptoms, you should see a physician immediately.
