Talk to Pediatrician: usually 5 to 6 months upper Front teeth starts appearing 10 month is relatively late but not unusual. Gaging is not normal so please get examined. Some children do not like to eat chunky food for up to 12 months so do not worry about the consistency of the food.

Go slow: Every child advances to weaning finds at his or her own pace. Parents should recognize and accept their child's individual uniqueness under a broad range of normal variation. sounds like he is in the ballpark for still preferring stage 2 consistency. Try to introduce stage 3 foods intermittently over the next 2-3 months, and get his pediatrician assess his growth and development at next visit:)

Normal: some children take quite a while to tolerate textures Give him a variety of foods in the texture he likes and occasionally offer a taste of something he really likes with more chunk to it, eventually he will like regular table food
