I believe my 7 week old son has gastro colic reflex. he is breastfed only and has severe episodes at every feeding. what are treatment options? thanks

Many: they are discovering that a good portion of infant with colic might be having a reflux. they place the patient on medication and trained you how to feed them. if there is a failure to thrive,or multiple episode of aspiration from reflux,or a lung problem ,they might recommend surgery to be done only by a pediatric surgeon, and they do it laproscopically, and they have excellent results.

Normal=no treatment: The gastrocolic reflex is just the gut sending information from top to bottom for stuff to move along.It is a normal event.BF babies can poo every feeding or once a week.If you think baby is fussy because of it, the cause is more likely something mom ate. Diet monitoring/modification may help.
