No: As long as swelling is your only symptom, then no. If you develop unceasing pain, persistent vomiting or change in your behavior call 911 and go to the ER.

Contusion: It depends on how hard you were hits and the degree of swelling. It's always a good idea to have it checked out. You might not have to go to the hospital but just get seen by your regular doctor as soon as possible. If there is significant swelling, headaches, and any mental status changes, go to the ED immediately.
