I got hit in the temple pretty hard with a ping pong ball and have had a headache since it happened last night. there is a small bruise and maybe some swelling im not to sure. i didnt know if this is concerning because i have had a headache.

Head trauma: It would be extremely unusual for any serious head injury from a ping pong ball at any velocity. If you have a headache try some pamol or ibuprofen. If concerned to see your GP.
