Depends: Sensitivity of assay used, time last used, frequency of ingestion, amount, and your metabolism play a role in detection. Also other medications especially other opiate/opioids. It is always best to inform the testing authority ahead of time and show that you have a legitimate prescription. If they have concerns about other opiates they can do more specific assay
