Comments: Migraine is NOT a contagious disorder, and well over 30 million people in the United States suffer these severe headaches. If both of you had migraine events at same time, would search for potential food triggers, such as nitrite preservatives, MSG, aspartame, but fermented or pickled items could also be culprits. Although unlikely, carbon monoxide exposure does cause headaches.

Could be: a virus, like flu, is common "catching" cause of headache but usually you would get a fever or some muscle aches. Parasite not so likely unless you are traveling. If you both are better, it was probably an infection. If either is not getting better, or there is rash or fever or neck pain, see a doctor.
