Description: Your endoscopist must describe what they see and many of this is descriptive. It is not normal to have dark blood in the rectum, but the report states there is no evidence of inflammation or lesions present based on visual examination. The fact that it is dark, most likely means that it came from higher up in the intestines rather than at the site it was seen.
