Is it safe to take claritan and singulair (montelukast) together? my sister in law accidently gave claritan to my daughter this am with out checking with me but i'm not completely sure myself. she takes singulair (montelukast) at night. thanks in advance

Singulair, (montelukast) Claritin : Singulair (montelukast) and Claritin have different method of working , They are ok if taken together , may cause more drowsiness .

Yes: The two medications may be given together. If there are any symptoms of asthma or an allergic reaction, I would advise a visit with your pediatrician.
