Petechiae : you have petechia on your inner arms. So long as this is only from where you have repeated trauma from lifting the baby it is ok. This is like bruising. If you notice it elsewhere then it could be a sign of low platelets and you would need to see your doctor. Hope this helps.

Petechiae: Its hard to say for sure without seeing the lesions close up. What you describe sound similar to "petechiae" which actually are ruptured micro blood vessels. There are usually harmless and go away by themselves. See a doctor if the lesions persist or increase in size.
