Any other symptoms?: If vision is good and nothing else seen, simply ice packs (be careful not to get frost bitten) for 5 minute sessions 3-4 times a day for a day or two is a good start. If vision is blurry, best to see an ophthalmologist to make sure there is nothing serious going on like a hemorrage. Same if there is pain.

Ice for first: 24 hours, then gentle heat after first 24 hours. If it is a significant injury, if she has any vision symptoms, loss of consciousness, or any deformity, she should go to emergency room.
