Not necessarily so: Do you mean fMRI a functional brain scan? or MRI an anatomic brain scan?. Either is an adjunct [aid ] in the clinical diagnosis of any condition. there are some technical differences between PET SPECT and fMRI scans that makes changes in brain status more changeable in f MRI.

I am a 47 yr old woman, had an MRI of knee on 9/29 which shows possible early ocd. On crutches but not a candidate for surgery. What else to do? Thx!
My Dr said I have a medial meniscus tear as well as OCD of my medial femoral condyle with an inflamed infrapatellar fat pad, we are waiting on an updated MRI but what does this all mean and what will surgery/ recovery be?

Seeing colored spots in vision on and off daily have had EEG MRI blood work and eye exam all normal. Could this be physiological? I do have anx, ocd.
