A member asked:

How many ipl treatments for nose skin telangiectasia are needed to see an effect? i don't notice any improvement after 3 treatments, is this normal?

May not be ever work: The IPL light source is a flash lamp, the same as many lasers, but the energy delivered is much less. The best laser treatment for telangectasias is the tunable or pulsed dye laser. The IPL frequencies cover most of the visible spectrum; whereas, the pulsed dye laser is tuned to the colour of oxygenated hemoglobin. The sheer power is much greater with the pulsed dye also.
