Is the texture of the endocervical canal of the cervix hard or soft?

Endocervix: The endocervix can not really be felt or palpated unless you are in labor. It is up inside of the cervical canal. It is made of columnar cells which are glandular and softer than the squamus cells that make up the ectocervix.
