Not Uncommon: 28 year old female asks, Is anxiety or heart palpitations a symptom of ovulation? Anxiety can make one's heart palpitate. Also sudden/ persisting palpitations can make one anxious but the two do not have to occur simultaneously. Yes some women do indicate they get palpitations around their ovulation. Not uncommon. But more women c/o palpitations at perimenopausal hormone swing time.

No: If you are having heart palpitations and anxiety, review this with your doctor and see if you need counseling, or medication or both after being properly diagnosed.
