When i bend/straighten right knee i feel something moving/snapping on the lateral side near the knee cap, what could this be? also, it does not hurt.

Several things: The snapping you are experiencing may be due to: 1. A plicae (a band of tissue that is connected to the kneecap/patella that at time can become thickened 2. Lateral meniscus problem (torn or subluxing) 3. Maltracking of the kneecap/patella 4. Iliotibial band syndrome Regardless, you should get examined by an orthopedic surgeon who may send you for an MRI to confirm the diagnosis.

Many things: Could be many things, such as patellar tendon, or the meniscus. More info needed. In any case, its a good thing it doesn't hurt. Let pain be your guide, and limit your activity based on that. Only an exam of your knee, and possibly Imagin studies can come up with as accurate a diagnosis as possible. See an orthopedic surgeon to find out for sure. Hope this helps!
