Ive had urge to pee nonstop for almost a week. got put on bactrim (sulfamethoxazole and trimethoprim) & it did nothing. tested neg 4 uti. hypochondriac. am i okay? i'm also 19. will

Urinary frequency: Urinary frequency in small amounts suggests overactive or inflammation of the bladder or urethra if urine cultures ars negative for infection. Frequency with large amounts or urine with each voiding can be due to diuretics,glandular abnormalities of the pituitary or parathyroid glands, high serum calcium levels,diabetes mellitus. If symptoms continue see a urologist t and/or an endocrinologist

No relax...: At your age people think you should not have any sickness. I think you are just stressed and need to relax. You have been tested for UTI and it is negative. Now just take it easy. Drink plenty of fluids and cranbury juice. If it persists, then get a urological opinion. Good luck and take care.
