Herpes simplex: Anything is possible but this is unlikely. Herpes is almost invariably painful and tender.

Unclear w/out Test: If it's a simple bump that didn't contain fluid or have a glassy appearance, it's most likely a blocked hair follicle/follicultis, but your suspicion for herpes is VERY POSSIBLE. Unfortunately the only way to know for sure is to get tested by a doctor. In the meantime, have a conversation with your partner about outbreaks and safe sex. HPV is also a possibility. Stay updated on paps!
