Manage risk factors: There are some non-modifiable risk factors for stroke: being male, genetics. The key is to manage the modifiable risk factors: * don't smoke * exercise * keep blood pressure under control * keep cholesterol under control * if you have diabetes, keep that under control * daily aspirin these things will not prevent 100% of strokes, but they would markedly reduce the risks.
