Is cipramil (10mg) safe to take? my gp said it was a low dose so should experience little to no side effects. is this true? still worried about it!

Safe: Yes it is a safe medication. The side effects are not dangerous, and mild - some upset tummy in the beginning, dry mouth, perhaps some anxiety in the beginning before the symptoms get better.
