What do you think, could military tri-care pay for liposuction for active duty to prevent hereditary diabetes?

No: Liposuction does not treat diabetes and is not covered by any insurance plan.

I doubt it. : Liposuction is not a well regarded treatment for diabetes.

No Insurance: No, there are no insurance plans that will pay for liposuction surgery in general. You should be aware that liposuction surgery will not prevent “hereditary diabetes”.

Not likely.: Liposuction at present is not being considered in mainstream diabetes management nor is it being considered for prevention. As you have military tricare - it may be best to inquire directly from them as to what they cover and what they don't. Continuing with a healthy diet and exercise will be the best management tools at present.

Most military: Personnel get their care directly from military treatment facilities. I do not know of any cosmetic procedures (that is what this is) that tricare would pay for - unless it is for reconstruction of deformity.
