I take 40mg fluoxetine a day. forgot today and took it just now, abt 6hrs late. feeling extremely nauseous, quick pulse, panicky. bec i took it late?

SIDE EFFECT: Nausea can be a common side effect of fluoxetine. Try to take it in the evening with food. If it does not abate split the dose 20mg dinner 20mg bedtime. Also recommend the anxiety&phobia workbook. Gives overview relaxation techniques and alternative therapies. Consider short acting med for anxiety (Xanax /inderal Symptoms are unlikely due to being late with the dose of Meds . Also try EFT
