Can i take 4mg of zofran 12 hrs after taking 10 mg of prozac (fluoxetine) for the first time? feeling nauseous but i have to go to work tonight?

There is a warning about taking those 2 meds together because of potential of the rare, but very serious,serotonin syndrome. In addition a study showed that prozac may interfere with the effectiveness of zofran. Try drinking flat ginger ale or flat coca cola to relieve nausea.
