I have a post surgery pilonidal cyst wound and it is in its final stages. saline water was used to clean it, now antiseptic. could this slow healing?

Here are some ...: In general, topical saline soaking and cleansing for open wound will induce and facilitate its healing with forming granulation tissue; the need for antiseptic is optional. However, if still pussy, topical antiseptic agent may help if not allergic to it. For such, Betadine solution has been commonly used and may be applied with Q-tip 1-3 times daily. For detail, ask your surgeon timely.

NO: also can take a good shower wash the area with soap and water and apply dressings , will heal soon and go for follow up visit to your surgeon.
