Acid reflux: You may want to see your doctor about this. Try not eating right before bedtime and cut down on acidic foods. There are also some really good products you can get OTC now to help. Your doc can give you a prescription, too. Best of luck!

Acid Reflux: Avoiding acidic foods shortly before retiring is an easy strategy for managing rare episodes of this condition. If it happens frequently despite taking this step, get evaluated by your PCP for an underlying issue such as Gastric Esophageal Reflux Disease which may be a factor. The big issue here is aspiration, meaning vomit making its way into your respiratory system. That is a serious issue.

Acid reflux: my colleagues have given excellent advice regarding acid reflux or GERD and you should see your primary care provider about this. Another concern is sleep apnea. Do you snore? Tired frequently? Overweight? Frequent headaches? High blood pressure? You should also talk to you primary care about sleep apnea.
