Vertigo & inner ear: Sulcal widening is variable and age-related. Actually early in life sulci appear prominent.Atrophy of the underlying white and gray matter results in reduction of gyral thickness and causes dilation of cortical sulci. Most vertigo is caused by inner ear problems. Rarely causes by tumors of acoustic nerve or disease of cerebellum. MRI did not show these findings so sulcal widening coincidental.
