Need further testing: If indeed a possible kidney mass was found on ultrasound, a CT scan (renal mass protocol) needs to be done in follow-up to confirm the presence of a mass and also to get an idea if there are any abnormally enlarged lymph nodes or other abnormalities in other organs. This is because ultrasound is very limited in resolution. A look at the adrenal glands with CT to rule out mass is important also.
