A member asked:

Is bleeding normal with an ear infection ?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

With rupture: It can be if the ear drum has ruptured. There are blood vessels that course through the ear drum, and a small tear in the drum can cleave one of these vessels causing bleeding. Assuming you haven't stuck anything in your ear, bleeding would indicate an ear rupture that needs to be evaluated now.
