Hepatitis C: Fibrosis score of 0 means that there is no scarring in the liver. Fibrosis score more important to me than necroinflammatory score, where a low grade is good. A blood test for Hepatitis C antibody is the best screening test. A PCR test would be necessary to determine if there is circulating virus present but would only be done if antibody is positive.
